Chalet Nathalie

Meribel
6 Rooms

Traditional 12 bed Meribel ski chalet in a privileged location - close to the popular ski slopes and lifts of Morel and its’ après ski bars… It’s rare to get such a good skiers’ location for Meribel

The Chalet

Chalet Nathalie is a traditional wooden-clad ski chalet in Meribel 1600 and situated very close to the popular Morel chair lift and slopes, (less than 5 mins walk), and a short ski home from the popular après ski bars of the Rond Point.

The chalet offers fantastic value accommodation for such a prime skier's location in Meribel and enjoys superb mountain views from its sunny aspect balconies. The interior is basic but comfortable, and pleasantly clad in wood with many of the bedrooms coming equipped with a basic en-suite bathroom or shower facilities with WC

The chalet has a comfy lounge with sofa seating and an open fire place for cosy evenings in. Also expect a TV-DVD, a light and airy dining room, a comfy lounge with a lovely sun-terrace offering superb views of the ski slopes of Meribel in the distance.

Location

Chalet Nathalie enjoys a rare and privileged location in Meribel which is close to the slopes and the Morel chairlift. Privileged, because most Meribel chalets require a shuttle bus to gain access to the pistes. The Nathalie is only a 5 min (approx 200 metre) walk from the Morel pistes and chairlift.

The Morel chair connects directly to the central Chaudanne ski area for ski school and access to the wider 3 Valleys. It also accesses the beautiful Altiport area for some of the best beginner and child friendly slopes, or more advanced skiing to Courchevel and access to Val Thorens, so the chalet really benefits from a fantastic skiers location!

The town centre is an 8-10min walk away but a few small apres ski bars and restaurants are close by, and of course the excellent 'Rond Point' après ski with it's slope-side bars are a stone's throw away. Guests can easily ski or board back down the Morel slopes for a convenient walk back to the chalet.

Eat, drink and be skiing

A good day on the mountains starts with one very important meal. To kick off your day, we serve a daily breakfast with hot options on 3 days to set you up for all the snow you can handle.

Nothing beats a freshly-baked cake and afternoon tea when you get back in from the slopes in the afternoon and our delicious three-course meals with unlimited wine until dessert are served six nights a week, leaving you free to explore the local restaurants for staff's night off.

  • Continental breakfast (7 days) with hot options (3 days)
  • Afternoon tea, coffee & hot chocolate with freshly baked cakes (6 days)
  • Three course dinners & wine, unlimited until dessert, (6 nights)
  • Special celebration menus at Christmas & New Year

About Meribel

Meribel itself provides the perfect conditions for beginners and early intermediates to quickly improve their skiing, with a range of challenging and not so challenging descents.

The facilities for snowboard holidays are superb, with three snow park and pipe options in the Meribel sector alone.

There are many more very well maintained parks throughout the Trois Vallees, all easily accessible and feature a good variety of hips, slides and jumps to suit all abilities. There is also a border cross course for varying levels of potential snowboard racers!

Group Ski Savings

Get 'On the Snow' Faster With Us

If you pre-book your ski extras with us then our ‘On the Snow’ service will help you get started in resort. We can save you two very precious things - money and time - if you pre-book the holy trinity of ski passes, hire and lessons early with us. After all, the mountains are too much fun to waste time queuing for lift passes or traipsing around resort looking for the best deal for ski hire.

Once you arrive with us, our ‘On the Snow’ team of reps will collect pre-booked lift passes for you and deliver them to the breakfast table on your first morning. They will also do their best to fast-track you through the ski shops and get you on the mountain as quickly and easily as they possibly can.

Ski and Board Hire

Unless you own your own skis or board, then you’re going to need to rent some. Nowadays the standard of rental skis is very good and we only work with the best suppliers.

Lift Passes

We also recommend that you pre-book your lift pass through us as well. This way we can bring your lift pass to the breakfast table on your first morning before you head out.

Ski/Board Lessons

Again, we always recommend pre-booking lessons to guarantee availability. We can book you into group lessons for all levels of skier and boarder – beginner to expert.

Price Match Promise

If you do find a better price for your skis and board hire elsewhere, (so long as it’s the same quality), then let us know and we guarantee we will not only match it, but we’ll beat it too!
