See our Arcs 2000 Chalets
Our La Plagne chalets are all extremely well located for ski slope access. They are all within 150 metres of the slopes! We have Chalets in Plagne 1800 which is the popular hub of la Plagne with pretty chalet style buildings, nightlife and great doorstep skiing. We also have chalets in Plagne Centre (2000m) which is higher up but slightly more concrete-like. It is not as pretty or popular as Plagne 1800 but our chalets do benefit from a quiet wooded location and wonderful panoramic views of the whole of La Plagne and Aime.

La Plagne is one of our high altitude ski resorts with an excellent snow record. Plagne was always a modern day "super-resort" with an extensive ski area in its own right, but now that it is linked directly to Les Arcs via the Vanoise Express - it makes the newly formed Paradiski area even more thrilling and varied! Expect fabulous skiing for all the family and challenging slopes for intermediate and advanced skiers and snowboarders.

Our La Plagne ski holidays run from chalets which are all situated within 150m of the slopes and take on a traditional feel and are full of alpine charm. Expect warm log fires, great locations with almost ski to door convenience and excellent chalet service from our welcoming staff.
Our chalets come chalet-board catererd which means a cooked and continental breakfast with cakes and tea in the afternoon as you come off the slopes and a 3 course evening meal with wine. All diets can ce accommodated, just let us know in advance. Earlier kids mealtimes with simpler menus are also part of our chalet-staff's remit, so long as you inform us in advance anything (within reason) is possible!
La Plagne has over 225km of skiing: over 450km when you include the neighbouring Les Arcs. The Vanoise Express connects the two resorts across a huge valley, is the only cable car in the world with a capacity of over 200 people. Together the ski area is termed ‘Paradiski’ and offers interest and challenge to all levels of skier.
La Plagne is actually comprised of 5 villages, quite different in character. Plagne 1800 is a pretty, traditional old mining village with picturesque chalets and two small bars offering live music in the evenings. Plagne Centre is a large purpose-built resort with plenty of chalets, high rise self catered apartments, restaurants and nightlife. It is also very conveniently located at the heart of the ski area. Plagne Soleil and Villages, satellites of Plagne Centre, have little in terms of facilities but great settings and they are walking distance from Plagne Centre itself.
All accommodation in Aime 2000 is ski to door, but if you like chalets this is not the village to choose as it is all large apartment blocks. Aime 2000 also features La Plagne’s best restaurant, l’Arlequin, serving Savoyarde and French cuisine with flair, for example flaming your crème brulee at the table. Finally, Belle Plagne is a pretty high-altitude resort with the best access to the lift link to Les Arcs, and La Plagne’s only nightclub.
One of the best things about skiing in La Plagne is, surprisingly, the off piste. If you are an advanced skier, you’ll be thrilled to find untracked powder up to 3 days after a snowfall. This is also a great resort for family ski holidays and beginner ski holiday makers, with gentle green and blue runs allowing little ones to quickly build confidence. And with such an extensive network of piste, there is an enormous amount for the intermediates as well. La Plagne might not quite have the reputation yet of the French big hitters like Val d’Isere and Courchevel, but it is catching up fast, and with good reason.
