Heli Boarding/Skiing Is the ultimate experience for every serious skier or snowboarder, and does not have to be restricted to the experienced snow users only: effortless powder turns through untracked fresh snow that can last for miles over thousands of metres of vertcal descent. We have specially sourced and professionally accredited suppliers with which we operate our Heli trips on a weekly basis. Once in resort, weather conditions and participants permitting - we can organise an unforgettable Heli drop to remember.
Skill level required:
In order to paticipate in a Heli drop then you will need to be of what we class as a high intermediate level. This will mean on average an experience level of 6 weeks on snow with good off piste experience also. If you are in doubt as to your suitability with the Off Piste part of this base skill level requirement, then by just taking part in 1 of our Off Piste Guiding days, you should be at a suitable level to run a Heli Drop.
All this information is given on the understanding that it is used as a guidance note only. Individual skill levels can vary in accordance with time on snow and your 6 weeks experience still may not come up to our base skill level.
All resorts can participate: Morzine, Chamonix, Les Arcs, Ste Foy and Tignes. However, transportation is often required and we will include that in the overall price mentioned in the back of the brochure.
The Itinerary
Each Heli Drop trip does differ, but as a general guide you may expect the following:
