Heli boarding/skiing

We organise Helicopter drops to provide the ultimate Off piste experience for our guests.

Heli Boarding/Skiing Is the ultimate experience for every serious skier or snowboarder, and does not have to be restricted to the experienced snow users only: effortless powder turns through untracked fresh snow that can last for miles over thousands of metres of vertcal descent. We have specially sourced and professionally accredited suppliers with which we operate our Heli trips on a weekly basis. Once in resort, weather conditions and participants permitting - we can organise an unforgettable Heli drop to remember.

Skill level required:
In order to paticipate in a Heli drop then you will need to be of what we class as a high intermediate level. This will mean on average an experience level of 6 weeks on snow with good off piste experience also. If you are in doubt as to your suitability with the Off Piste part of this base skill level requirement, then by just taking part in 1 of our Off Piste Guiding days, you should be at a suitable level to run a Heli Drop.

All this information is given on the understanding that it is used as a guidance note only. Individual skill levels can vary in accordance with time on snow and your 6 weeks experience still may not come up to our base skill level.

All resorts can participate: Morzine, Chamonix, Les Arcs, Ste Foy and Tignes. However, transportation is often required and we will include that in the overall price mentioned in the back of the brochure.

The Itinerary
Each Heli Drop trip does differ, but as a general guide you may expect the following:

  • Tranceivers are included.
  • For a One-drop option, this will generally take up a full day and take in as much as a 3500 metre vertical descent. Any one run (depending on ability) can last for up to an hour or even two hours, over which you will experience the pure thrill and adrenaline rush that is unhindered freeriding over real powder descents.
  • Prices are from 155 Euros per person

You may pre-order your Heli Drop before departure from the UK and this must be done at least 1-2 weeks prior to your holiday start date, but payment must be made in resort.

All the below rates and specifics in the brochure were correct at time of print. However, please be aware that because we are using suppliers, certain conditions may change and availability of supply cannot be guaranteed. Payment is made on arrival in resort, but you can reserve from the UK by emailing us.

Payment for the Heli trips are on arrival in resort. The trips are available each week of the season, weather and conditions pending.
