Canadian Ski Team loses £100,000 in fire
The Canadian Mens Alpine Ski team lost nearly £100,000 of equipment in a fire at Heathrow Airport earlier in July.

Light winds with occasional snow showers in the higher areas looks typical across the French Alps this week. Temperatures are to be below zero in France, but likely to be higher in Austria, though their resorts may see a little more snow. Thursday and Friday should be clear and sunny all day (and night). Chamonix is set to see the best of the snow fall, with the top slopes expecting up to 5cm between Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons. There could also be further falls of snow next weekend.
