World Cup ski series comes down to the last race

In a real nail bighter of a season, the two dominant women, Maria Riesch and Lindsey Vonn, will battle it out in the last race of the season before the FIS World Cup Women’s Overall Ski Champion is decided. The Giant Slalom is the race, and the Swiss resort of Lenzerheide is the venue. The somewhat convluted scoring methods, spread over the whole series, depending on how many races a competitor finished, how many podium finishes and so on. The weather, which caused the cancellation of Thrsday’s Super G and Friday’s Mens’ G S, could still play it’s part.
