LA MARMOTTE CYCLING RACE
26TH YEAR Saturday 7 July: La Marmotte is one of the oldest sport-cycling events, and is also one of the most difficult. With 16,400ft difference in height, 110 miles over fabulous passes, the Croix de Fer, the Telegraph, the Galibier, and the Lautaret and then the 21 bends of Alpe d’Huez just before the finishing line.

MÉGAVALANCHE
Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 July: The Mégavalanche of Alpe d’Huez, which is known as the Mecca of Mountain Bike, is now twice as much fun for Free ride bikers, as there are two Marathon Descents on the Grandes Rousses Area, with qualifications on Saturday July 29th and the Mégavalanche on the 30th, starting at 10,925 ft high on the peak of the Sarenne Glacier.
