Cycling and Mountain Biking

Our Mountain bike and cycle holidays come with free bike hire, ride advice and maps. We operate out of the beautiful mountain towns Morzine and Les Gets which offer leisurely cycling graded from super-easy trails to more technical rides for all tastes and abilities.

Resort Overview

Morzine and Les Gets are two neighbouring resorts and the undisputed mountain bike capital of the French Alps! As a family orientated resort, you will find excellent restaurants, shops and a colourful cafe culture, with plenty of family and more adrenaline fuelled activities to do if you fancy a day out of the saddle. Try Rafting, Hydrospeeding, Walking, Climbing, Canyoning.

Leisurely Cycling

As a family orientated resort, Morzine and Les Gets offer a vast network of leisurely bike trails to suit all abilities. The ski lift system is specially fitted with bike carriers so that mountain bike cyclists can cover many miles of scenic terrain without any hard slogs! We provide laminated maps and trails routes so you can enjoy the mountains at your own pace.

Cross Country, Freeride

Morzine and Les Gets also offers some of Europe's leading Cross Country, Freeride Mountain Biking and Enduro riding.The area has 29 ski lifts which access over 1000 kms of Singletrack trails, offering both easy and technical rides so that beginners can "give it a go". Rides of every level lead through pine forest and through the mountains. Choose your route from our selection of maps, which can consist of easy riding with no inclines or rides that grade upwards in difficulty - through slight inclines, short steep climbs and downhill sections or again just mellow downhill sections that will suit all tastes.

The terrain is largely tarmac road or fire road (reddish stone and gravel) with muddy, rooty or rocky Singletrack (goat tracks)  that wend their way alongside lakes, rivers, waterfalls and across the tops of mountains at altitudes of over 2000m which can be accessed by cable car.

Downhill

Les Gets and Morzine also specialise in Downhill Mountain Biking and cycle tracks with mountain bike courses, both man-made and natural. Expect to find humps, bumps, banked corners and fast flowing mountain bike tracks to suit all levels of rider with "chicken runs" round any difficult sections so that everyone can have a crack!
