Chalet Alaska
The Chalet Alaska is a centrally located chalet-hotel in Alpe dhuez for 32 people. It is perfectly situated for access to the bike trails, ski lifts and resort amenities, shops and night life for the Mega Avalanche event.
The chalet-hotel attracts like-minded mountain bikers and alpiners who want to share good times on the mountain and around the dinner table in the evening. The food is great and the chalet chef can cater for all diets and appetites! Expect a full on breakfast with cooked items, cakes and tea and a 3 course evening meal and wine.
The chalet has an in-house mechanic and bike storage facilities. Bike shops for spares are situated very close by.We can also rent our Kona Stinky's (perfect Mega-Avalanche machines) but please do this before departure from UK.
The chalet public areas (dining room and lounge) were revamped in 2006 and has a very fresh and clean feel. The food is great and the bedrooms are ensuite, many have balcony and quad rooms get discounted rates.
