White water rafting & Hydrospeed

The alps are famous for their white water rapids, and as such the rafting opportunities are just as popular. You might try Hydro Speeding as an alternative which is descending the same rapids but using a float (like a body board) rather than a raft! You can try 360 degree spins and surf the swells! Cost from £30 run time half a day

Mini bikes

These rugged little bruisers have oversized tyres and beefy brakes, and no pedals! They provide top entertainment and a great alternative to descending the mountain as they roll over oversized rocks and roots! Cost is from £25. Run time is half a day.

Skiing/Snowboarding

Snow is not something that is usually associated with the summer-time! However in our high altitude resort in Tignes it is possible to ski or board on the Glacier at 3500m. In fact there is quite a lot on offer, with over 25 kms of slopes. Cost is from £20 for a day pass and £15 for the kit hire. Run time is 1 day.

Dirt Boarding

This is immense fun and involves strapping yourself into an oversized skateboard and using the mountain terrain to get air and carve around. It can give a similar sensation to snowboarding, and is very popular on the bike trails. Cost from £25. Run time is up to 1 day.

Water ski / Wake board

Morzine and Les Gets guests can visit lake Geneva for a day out where we can offer some water ski activities, beginners are included. Cost is from £30. Run time is half a day.

Quad Biking

Quad biking is available on child size bikes as well as more powerful adult machines. Quad bike adventures (or guided expeditions) can also be arranged to take in long distances over mountain terrain. Cost is from £40 - £70 . Run time is up to 1 day.

Horse riding

There is an equestrian centre in most resorts that will offer mountain rides and guided treks through stunning alpine scenary. Prices vary from £30 and upwards and run-time is half a day to 1 day

Devil Karts

Devil Karts are simply go karts that have steering and brakes and are designed to be pointed downhill and raced at speed! You take them up the mountain on the ski lift and at the top, simply follow the course down. They have oversized tyres and beefed up brakes

Parapenting

Is a very popular activity and involves flying a “Wing” in the thermals high above the valley floor, it is kind of like Hang Gliding. Flights are accompanied and cost is from £20. Run time is approx 2.5 hrs

Canyoning and Via Feretta

This invloves roped climbs and abseiling down crevasses with mountain walks that require a guide with ropes and harnesses. It is not as skilled or physical as climbing but will provide immense enjoyment and a thrilling alternative to plain trekking. Cost from £35. Run time half a day to one day.

Relaxation!

Maybe you just fancy a swim in the mountain lakes or resort swimming pools and to soak up the hot alpine sun? Easy walks and a lovely alpine atmosphere will provide you with a very realxing alternative.
