Les 2 Alpes bottom ski slopes
With Les 2 Alpes ready to open it’s ski season on the 7th, snow in Les Gets’ main street (at 1000m!). and a general whiteness descending over much of the Alpes – it looks as if the Winter Ski Season is but a hairs-breadth away. Alpine temperatures look like they will stay around freezing on the slopes, so what has fallen should stay, at least on the slopes. The low temperatures also mean that snow making can happily continue to build a base, and top up what natural snow has already fallen.
Tignes Le Lac ski slopes
Tignes looks to have a good 10cm plus in Le Lac, with Toviere and the Grande Motte looking pretty healthy indeed, with clear blue skies. The Trois Vallees seems to have a fair amount of cloud, but blue patches are making their presence felt. Snow cover is looking good in Austria, St Anton has a good covering from 1320m all the way to the top.
