Trampolin snow park, La Molina

Following the success of the Slopestyle events at such high profile events as the X-Games and this year’s FIS Junior World Snowboard Championships, at Wanaka in New Zealand, it has now been confirmed that the event will now be on the senior FIS snowboard calendar. The 9th FIS Snowboard World Championship, in the Catalonian ski resort of La Molina, Spain, will see the debut of Slopestyle, with events for Men and for Women.

The competition will now run from the 14th to the 23rd of January 2011, with Slopestyle qualifying on the 21st and the finals on the 22nd . There are eight places available (4 for the Men and 4 for Women), which means that the team sizes could increase by the same number.
