What a lovely bunch of guests we’ve got at the bdn this week! Everyone is very chilled out and like minded, and all of our different groups of guests have been getting to know each other over a vin rouge or three at the bdn bar. The slopes are a lot quieter this week as the half term holidays are over, and it’s been really warm and sunny up there. I was told in a bar the other night that I don’t look tanned enough to be a seasonnaire, so I’ve been working on those goggle mark tan lines!

I was very surprised when Superman, Spiderman and Captain Scarlet came down for breakfast in the hotel this morning! Turns out three of our guests thought it would be fun to dress up as the famous superheroes for their day on the slopes. I couldn’t resist getting a picture of the three jokers outside the hotel!

I think there’s a bit of mid-season silliness happening amongst the staff at the moment, as practical jokes seem to be at an all time high. I’m the most gullible person ever and never fail to fall for these! Definitely the most embarrassing was when Olly managed to convince me and Holle B that there were two drop dead gorgeous blokes sat in the bdn bar. After a quick mirror check, we quickly legged it upstairs to see them, only to find out it was all a joke! Oh dear.

Best achievement of the week has to go to Josh, who landed his first backflip coming off a kicker on his board this week. A mention has to go to Hollie Bannister too though, who managed to unintentionally backflip and face plant when doing the jump for the very first time! What a ledge.

Everyone’s looking ahead to Summer at the moment and it’s safe to say that the bdn crew have got a pretty exciting one lined up – from staying in the alps, to Thailand, America and New Zealand, everyone’s got some really cool plans for what to do after the winter season. Everyone except me, that is! I’m still deliberating over whether to carry on doing seasons or go back to the UK. Any thoughts?!
