Lurching slightly between a 4.45pm and 5.15pm, the alpine fest that is Ski Sunday rag-dolls it’s way back to our screens. The first show (Jan 9th) majors on FIS World Cup skiing from the Swiss resort of Adelboden. There should also be a bit on the ridiculously named ‘Oakley and Shaun White Present Air & Style Beijing 2010’ from back at the beginning of December last year. *Spoiler* If you need the excitement of not knowing who won skip the last paragraph!
The Red Button (and website) will offer live ski racing, with today’s event up from 9.30pm. This series runs through to the 20th of February, and retains Ed Leigh and Graham Bell as presenters and all-round purveyors of snowyness. Expect mini features on new winter sports, e.g ‘ski joring’ racing other skiers by being towed behind a motorbike… hmm.
Good to see Ed (@SnowEdLeigh) keeping up with technology, he’s on Twitter. 44 Followers, following 16 people and Zero Tweets! At least Graham’s (@skigrahambell) got digital digits.
*Spoiler*
1st Seb Toutant (CAN)
2nd Seppe Smits (BEL)
3rd Elias Elhardt (GER)
