Following a meeting this morning (22nd of September) attended by, amongst others, representatives of British Airways and EasyJet, it has been confirmed that there will be a twenty four hour strike by French Air Traffic Controllers. This is planned for the 23rd and 24th of September.

The ttglive travel trade website reports that some of those involved expect airlines flying over French airspace may have to ‘reduce capacity by 50%’. It could also mean the cancellation of ‘hundreds of flights’. Passengers are recommended to contact their airlines if they are traveling around those dates.
