The Waterloo is a smashing Alpine Elements ‘Luxury’ rated chalet on the edge of the Espace Killy, with links to Tignes via the Sache telecabin, and Val d’isere. There are a number of long red and blue runs starting at the Aiguille Percee, or the top of Tigne’s Chaudannes lift. For a much more challenging ride, the Vallon de Sache is one of the Espace’s best Blacks, which skirts the nature reserve before ending at the village.
The village has more than it’s fair share of really good Savoie restaurants, as well as a good selection of bars, cafes, and shops. Lunchtime at one of the restaurants near the pistes which end up in the village is very hard to beat.
