SNOW REPORT
No change this week – its still dumping with snow.

OLYMPIC WASH OUT
Whistler seems always to be one extreme or another: It either dumps with snow, or it lashes with rain. Its proximity to Vancouver and such a large mass of water causes precipitation to be well above average, thus making it a risky destination in a mild winter. Whistler is a very low resort, its top lift (2,182m) only just reaches the height of the base stations in many of our European resorts!

We have always specialised in high altitude resorts and this is why, in spite of a good snow year, we are hanging onto our high destinations for 2011. Perhaps this is also why we are experiencing a surge in enquiries for our early booker ski deals for next year…
