Chamonix ski area opens - Lognans, Grands Montets. Friday 26 Nov

It has been confirmed that Chamonix will definitely see a partial opening of the Grands Montets area this coming weekend (27th of November). There are plans to run Argentière-Lognan cable car, Marmottons chairlift, and the Bochard gondola. That would mean the Bochard and Marmottons slopes would be up and running.

However, the epic snowfalls of the last few days, which look set to continue, may well mean that a larger area than expected can be made available.
