New lift for Tignes Les Brevieres – UPDATE

First off, this is not a ski lift but it is a lift for skiers. Confused? You won't be. The new lift, currently well into it's construction phase, will link the area served by the Montee des Haute des Brevieres directly to the edge of the Tignes Les Brevieres village.

Ski slope gets go ahead

Planning permission has been given to what will be Europe’s largest indoor snow slope. Louth council have given it’s developers the green light to go ahead with the combined Leisure & Casino project, which will be located just off the M1 motorway, near to Dundalk.

St Anton shot Brit flick rom com 'Chalet Girl' is on general release from February the 18th. The heroine is an ex-burger bar worker and non-skier 19 year old Kim Mathews. She manages to land a job working in Bill Nighy's Austrian chalet, and chat up a Gossip Girl, as well as ride in a pro-snowboard comp. Yo!
