The bay is large and protected with beautiful emerald coloured waters. The main town of the area is Argalasti, which is about 6 km away, through beautiful olive groves and plenty of rich vegetation.
Horto is actually a fishing village, lying around 300 meters from the Leda Beach Club where you will find the museum of Aggelimis containing a range of books, valuable relics, and traditional artifacts. The village has the traditional Greek tavernas offering freshly caught fishes, cooked to perfection, as well as several other prime examples of the renowned Mediterranean cuisine.

Windsurfing and sailing tuition is free for all guests, using RYA (Royal Yachting Association) instructors. So you can actually return home with a new qualification by taking the full course!
Leda is the perfect place to learn to sail or windsurf with its gentle thermal winds in the mornings suitable for beginners. You will find the winds pick up later in the day giving the ideal conditions for intermediate and experienced sailors.
If sailing isn’t your thing, you can try a kayak or stand up paddleboard to explore the beautiful coves and beaches of the area. The instructors will be on hand to help if this is your first time. You will learn how to stand up on the paddleboard on dry land before taking to the waves. It is great fun and exercises the whole body as well. Guides can also take you to a secluded bay for swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing, coffee, ice-cream or a light lunch.

This beautiful beach club is located just opposite Porto Heli on the eastern coast of the Peloponnese.
Porto Heli is a town situated on a large enclosed bay and harbour. There are many yachts anchored there in the port bestowing it with a cosmopolitan atmosphere.

Surf Hotel Beach Club, Vassiliki
This is a more exclusive beach club located on the beach of Vassiliki on the beautiful island of Lefkada.

Morzine is linked by lift to 12 resorts in the area and there are more than 850 kilometers of walking or biking trails on the same lift pass. Dominating the end of Savoyard valley, Morzine boasts a rich landscape of rivers, lakes and mountain greenery as well as an abundance of flowers spilling out over the balconies of the beautiful chalets.

Free Active Kid’s club operates 5 days a week with both morning and afternoon sessions for kids aged 4 – 16 years old. The only thing you should do in advance is pre-book and thus make sure that they will have the time to organise the kids into their age groups. If you prefer to stay in one of the chalets, no problem: just bring the kids to the hotel where the clubs are held and everything will be taken care of for you.
The Kid’s Club is subdivided to the “Mini Kid’s Club”, for children of 4 – 7 years old, and “Junior’s Club”, for children of at least 8 – 12 years old. Mini Kid’s Club sessions are great fun and include activities like

Morzine resort offers its guests during summer two different packs, tailored to two different family types: the Explorers and the Adventure seekers.
The Explorer Pack features, apart from all the aforementioned activities, horse riding (a simply unique experience for all first timers in the Alps) and the famous Via Ferrata. White water rafting
Get your adrenaline running and meet up with others as you skim the rapids in either 8 – 10 man rafts or in a two man Hot Dog inflatable boat.
This sport is Italian in origin and is an exciting sport whereby you follow marked routes through the mountains aided by steps, bridges, and ladders. It is suitable for children over 8 years of age when accompanied by an adult.
Sportignes Multi Pass
For just £5 per day use this pass to get to Tignes (1 hour by bike) and enjoy a multitude of lake activities such as sailing, kayaking, paddleboard, and Acroland, where there is plenty to do and try out.
Feel the freedom of spirit as you take off from the mountain top to glide down to the valley on a tandem paraglider controlled by the instructor. It is a wonderful experience and the views are magnificent.
Downhill Mountain Biking
Experience the incredible downhill track from the top of La Daille cable car, which is quite technical, guaranteed to sharpen your skills on a bike. Alternatively go up to the Tignes sector for cross country biking and Espace Killy, tracks and trails. You will get a free pass, route maps, and quality bike hires all for free.
Provided the weather is fair there are daily helicopter flights. Relax and enjoy a bird’s eye view of the mountains capped with snow, glaciers, pine forests full of wildlife, lakes, and rivers.
