Our holidays include windsurf kit hire and professional instruction for all levels. Our windsurf programme is designed for adults and children (aged 6 plus) of all abilities. Inclusive tuition is in groups. Private tuition is also available, this is booked and paid for in resort.

VASSILIKI

Some places have a reputation blown out of all proportion: Vassiliki is not one of them! Almost every thing that you’ve heard about ‘Vass’ is probably true, from a wind called ‘Eric’ to the clear blue water, and from the laid back but buzzing nightlife to the sheer beauty of its bays. The islands green clad mountains frame what is arguably the best flat water windsurf venue anywhere in the known world.

 ERIC THE THERMAL WIND

As if it has an alarm clock, by 10 am Eric the wind has provided a Force 1 to 2 on-shore breeze. For those learning to windsurf the morning conditions are ideal and for the more experienced sailors the light breeze offers a great chance to brush up on those freestyle skills. Light wind sailing is always worthwhile for becoming more agile and helping you perfect moves in stronger winds. After lunch the wind shifts to cross-shore and picks up, blowing anything between Force 4 and 7. Sea conditions remain flat throughout the day, with the possibility of a little chop downwind for any budding bump and jumpers.

The predictable nature of Eric makes it easy to learn, progress and push your windsurfing to the next level. This thermal wind is what makes Vassiliki so special, with clean dependable winds giving a really full day’s sailing week in, week out.

Being such a strong windsurf centre, off water relaxation time can be very windsurf orientated. The laid back atmosphere of the harbour Tavernas is the place to discuss your latest move or watch surf movies. Whilst you're waiting for Eric there is also a variety of other activities from island hopping to mountain biking, from diving to wakeboarding.

NOVICE SAILORS

Vassiliki may be a mecca for expert windsurfers but don’t let this put you off! As a beginner you can take full advantage of the light wind mornings, flat sea and shallow water.
 

FREE TUITION

Our tuition is split into beginner, intermediate and advanced groups. Beginner lessons run for 2.5 hours 5 days a week. By day 2 you're sure to be standing up and sailing along - windsurfing! Intermediate and advanced lessons also run for 2.5 hours 5 days a week.
