Kayaking and Vassiliki could almost have been made for each other. The Island’s coast is, in part, a lacework of coves, caves, bays, beaches and inlets, many of which cannot be reached easily from the landward side. This combination has ensured the Island of Lefkas’ place in the world top ten of kayaking destinations.

These kayaks are fun and easy to paddle. You can enjoy exploring the coastline towards the back of the sailing area or maybe paddle down the beach and stop for an icecream or a delicious Greek coffee. KAYAK ADVENTURES
We have the best all-rounder kayaks available, so whether you want to start your day with a fitness sprint to the back of the sailing area or a gentle float in the peaceful shallows, our kayaks are great for you.
During your stay, our staff will organise a kayak trip across the bay to one of our beautiful local beaches. The beauty of the area and the sense of adventure that comes from approaching a new place by sea makes this excursion one of our most popular activities of the week. All ages and all abilities are welcome.
EASY TO USE
Unlike their “canoe-style” or solo-kayak counterparts - the Ocean Kayak is a sit-on top, flat bottom and wide bodied boat which is much easier to paddle and won’t easily roll over or fill with water. They offer a safer experience which makes it very easy for beginner paddlers to just get up and go.
Ocean kayaks also offer fishing opportunities and all over the place the fish are just waiting for you to silently paddle up and land your prize winning catch! We do not provide fishing equipment but we can certainly provide the boat and a bouyancy aid!
A POTTED HISTORY
In 1971, in a backyard in Malibu, California, the original founder of Ocean Kayaks took an old surfboard and carved out two places — one to sit in and another for his scuba gear. And yes - the Ocean Kayak was then born as a means of enjoying the wonders of the ocean at a leisurely pace.
PADDLEBOARD CRUISES
One of our most popular activities is the Paddle board cruise to a neighbouring beach. Combined with snorkeling in the clear blue waters off beaches like Agio Fili, these gentle cruises are an ideal way to spend half a day discovering seldom seen parts of the Island.
