THE SURF HOTEL

Our lovely beach hotel is, (as it sounds), right on Vassiliki beach with sunny sea views from all bedrooms.

The hotel is exclusive to our guests and has a pool and private garden fronting the beach. It is stocked full of the latest toys from RS, Laser and Topper and the latest boards from Starboard. We have bikes and kayaks for exploring one of the most beautiful islanda in Greece.

Our beach bar serves food and drinks at very discounted prices for guests, and our guest lounge has the best views on the beach of Vassiliki bay! Each bedroom has Satellite TV, ensuite bathroom and sunny aspect balcony most with direct sea views! The hotel has Wi-fi and a kids playroom. Our free Kids Club is for 4-12 year olds and will take kids on sailing joyrides and mini resort adventures.

LOCATION

Without doubt, we have the best location on Vassiliki beach, where the water is flatter and the wind is cleaner. The hotel is 8/10 mins walk along the beach from the centre, which is a lovely walk. Many guests choose to kayak or Paddleboard there for ice cream or coffee!

Free Bike Hire
Free with this holiday deal is 3 days rental of our 2012 Specialized Hardrock Disc Sport and Kona Fire Mountain Bikes. These are very high end, premium pieces of kit. Perfect for riding around Vassiliki which has some spectacular mountain bike terrain, or just pottering around the lovely island villages, beaches and coves

THE RESORT

Vassiliki is situated on the beautiful island of Lefkada at its southern shore. 

It offers all conditions and the most consistent wind in the Europe for sailing which makes it deal for beginners and experts. It is gentle in the morning and progressively builds through the late afternoon.

Vassiliki is one of Europe’s finest active sports resorts and a very famous windsurf destination offering dinghy sailing and many other watersports for all levels.

The mountains surrounding “Vass” provide alternative activities with stunning walks, (with a guide if preferred), culture tours, island trips, boat trips and great terrain for mountain bikers of all levels.We also stock some of the latest 2011 Kona bikes at our hotel for you to use all week.

WINDSURF & SAILING LESSONS

Complimentary windsurf and sailing tuition is provided by our own RYA qualified windsurf instructors, along with windsurf free use of our boats and boards. We have more than enough kit to go around! We will also rig and de-rig the boards and boats for you. Lessons are completely free for all guests (beginner, intermediate, advanced) and run 5 days each week with a day off. Our support and rescue boats are on hand. 

OTHER ACTIVITIES

Our beach front hotel is not only stacked full of all the latest windsurf boards and sailing dinghies, but we have the latest Kona 2012 Mountain bikes, Ocean Kayaks and Paddle Boards which are free for guests to use. We also arrange day trips and excursions by boat to other islands.
