DINGHY SAILING

We have a selection of the best (and latest) performance and beginner or family sailing dinghies from leading brand Laser which are free for you to use all week. Boats are rigged and de-rigged for you.

WIND CONDITIONS

Vassiliki especially is renowned for having the most consistent and perfectly suited winds for sailing in Greece. The wind in Vassiliki and Nidri is generally very light in the morning, Force 1-2, which is ideal for beginners to learn or for inters and experts to practice those roll gybes! The afternoon always sees a steady wind build and consistently goes from about F3 to F5 or even F7 in Vassiliki by mid to late afternoon. This is true for most days of the season. Nidri is generally no so windy in the afternoons.

TUITION & BOATS

Tuition is available for all levels from our own RYA instructors who are in-house and available all week. Boats will be set up and de-rigged for you, just stroll to the edge of the hotel gardens and take out a dinghy! Generally we always have enough boats for guests to use most days. If sailing is an important part of your holiday then just tell us and we will try to ensure you always have a boat all week.

Tuition runs for 5 days a week . If you don't wish to join lessons, our staff and support boat are always on hand to assist.

Group 1 - Beginner	2.5hrs/5 days	Boat controls, turning around, safety & fun!
Group 2/3 - Intermediate	2.5hrs/5 days	This group may be split into 2. Race starts, man over board recovery, picking up a mooring, sailing backwards, trapezing and more!
Group 4 - Advanced	2.5hrs/5  days	Advanced kit tuning, spinnakers, race tactics, rudderless sailing, roll tacking, roll gybing and requests!
Private Tuition	For all abilities	Booked and paid for in resort.

LESSONS
All of our inclusive tuition is in groups with a fully qualified instructor. Private tuition is also available in resort, subject to availabilty of staff. Private tuition is booked and paid for in resort. Our inclusive tuition is split into 3 groups: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. All group tuition runs for 2.5 hours, 5 days a week. Generally the beginners and intermediates will go out in the morning and the advanced group will go out in the afternoon. However, this will always depend on condtions, the instructors will ensure they choose the best conditions for the skill they are teaching.

We offer expert tuition from hoisting your first sail to be first across the fiish line! If you don't wish to join in with lessons, that's no problem, just take the kit and have fun on the water. Staff are always on hand to assist. Or if you just want to duck in and out lessons, that's fine too. I't's your holiday, so you choose.

Beginners will learn in a variety of boats. Very quickly you'll be happily sailing solo in one of our Laser Picos.  You will also have oppertunity to experience the thrill of the bigger Laser Bahia, and with an instructor on board, learning is quick and easy. The Bahia is also perfect for families to enjoy sailing together, all in the same boat.
