This activity is offered FREE with all our active holidays to the French Alps. The Alps are famous for their white water rapids, and therefore rafting is a very popular past time and incredibly exhilarating!

For under 12 year olds we offer other activities like kayaking

Run time is approx 2 ½  to 3 hours and the rafting centre will brief you on kit use and safety before you go off to the rapids with your instructor. You can either join one big raft for eight to ten people or take a smaller two-man raft. Rafters will use the eddies and swells to heighten the sensation, and an abundance of over-falls, small water falls and swirling currents will add excitement to your journey downstream! Rafting is suitable for all ages from 10-12 years and over, younger children can participate if they are tall for their age. 

All rafters must be good swimmers, and it is a good idea to bring an old pair of trainers. This activity is run with our supplier "Evolution 2" who will provide transport down to the rafting location by coach which is a short drive from resort.

Many of our guests choose to book their activities on arrival in resort once they have spoken with our Activity Reps who will give advice and recommendations. Although we can pre book activities in advance, this does not guarantee availability or a set day on which the activity will run, this is due to weather or supplier/logistic restrictions. In these instances you will be offered an alternative activity or a full refund in resort.
