Les 2 Alpes Overview
Les Deux Alps nestles in a beautiful and lush valley which bathes in more than 300 days sunshine a year. It is a vast outdoor adventure playground for mountain lovers, and offers an amazing array of more than 80 activities.

As a summer mountain destination Les 2 Alpes is a hard one to top! It is the most southern resort in the Alps, located only 1 ½ hours from Nice, which means it gets a lot of hot sunshine! Les Deux Alps also has the largest variety of activities in the Alps; it offers skiing on the glacier, white water adventures, biking, walking climbing and so much more to suit everyone from adrenaline seekers to couples and families.

An Active break

Skiing and Snowboarding
Les 2 Alpes is famous for its summer glacier which is the highest and largest  in Europe (3500m). See Summer ski map. It is open from 7.30 am to 1.30 - 2.00pm every day. Skiers and boarders can pack alot into thier day with a ski in the morning and an alternative activity in the afternoon such as biking, rafting or walking. Summer ski map

Walking
The resort  is surrounded by spectacular mountains and some of the highest peaks in Europe, which, serviced by a large network of ski lifts allow walkers the chance to cover many miles of rugged terrain and reach high vantage points easily. Discover the Glacier and walking at  altitude in snow shoes which are open to all levels of fitness. Try Nordic walking or more extreme glacier walks with a guide who will supply crampons and ice axes. For a more sedate walk, there are numerous valley walks and nature trails which take in waterfalls, lakes and rugged alpine scenery with plenty of mountain restaurants along the way.

Mtn Biking
Les 2 Alpes is home to some of the finest mountain biking in the Alps. 600 miles of tracks and trails await the cross country or leisure rider. Ski lifts are open for bikers which can be incorporated into half day or day long rides, featuring downhill runs that last for several miles. You might try the thrilling downhill tracks with banks, bumps and humps for all levels of rider.

Or a relaxing holiday
If a more relaxing holiday is on the cards, then you might prefer to simply walk in some of the most beautiful alpine surroundings. Perhaps try sight-seeing or a nature trail using the ski lifts to reach high vantage points. Both tennis and golf are popular past-times as well as meandering around the shops, bars and cafes of this charming alpine village
