The Bdn (short for Boule de Neiges) is a fully renovated and charming, characterful chalet-hotel in the centre of Chamonix with views that look out over Mont Blanc. The chalet-hotel offers excellent value accommodation in the centre of one of France's most vibrant mountain towns, and was newly renovated over summer 2006 to offer a very comfortable standard of property. There is a comfy lounge with tv and dvd player. The hotel is Wi-fi enabled and also a very atmospheric public bar and restaurant.
Location
The Bdn is a very central chalet-hotel, located just a stone's throw from the ski slopes and lifts in Chamonix. It is a rare thing indeed for a hotel or chalet in Chamonix to be located so close to the ski lifts, walking and biking trails and amenities.
Please Note
Guests will dine in the hotel brasserie. An area of the Brasserie will be reserved for hotel guests for 1.5 hours each evening (except Thursdays*), and then the Bar/Brasserie wil re-open to members of the public. A private "comfy lounge" is up stairs in the main hotel - refer to Chalet Plans. *Thursday is hotel staff day off.
