Chamonix is renowned for it's mountain biking, in fact it has some of the best mountain biking in france. Resort
Chamonix is a bustling mountain town packed with restaurants, bars, shops and colourful cafes. There is as much to do off the mountain as there is on the mountain! In fact Chamonix has a bigger summer trade than the winter ski trade.

The non active holiday-maker will enjoy the Mer de Glace train ride, the Aguille du Midi, the town museum, wonderful scenery, fresh water lake swimming, lovely cafes, sedate valley walks, and shopping that would put most cities to shame!
