Overview 
Chamonix is famous for being Europe's most interesting mountain resort and to put it mildly - the services and the facilities of Chamonix are quite simply superb! Chamonix sits at the foot of Mont Blanc, Europe's highest mountain, and the quality of alpine breaks to Chamonix have made it the most talked about and internationally recognised alpine resort in the world.

Resort
Chamonix is a bustling mountain town teeming with restaurants and colourful cafes. There is as much to do off the mountain as there is on the mountain! In fact Chamonix has a bigger summer trade than the winter ski trade.
The non active holiday-maker will enjoy the Mer de Glace train ride, the Aguille du Midi, the town museum, wonderful scenery, fresh water lake swimming, lovely cafes, sedate valley walks, and shopping that would put most cities to shame! Not to mention the mountain culture, good food, welcoming hospitality and sunny weather that Chamonix is renowned for.
