Resort Info - Lake Garda
Italy's prettiest lake spans over 47kms, and offers windsurfing, waterskiing, kayaking and sailing; as well as other more relaxing activities such as pedalo, boat tours and swimming from white sand or shingle beaches. The beaches that span its shore are lined with promenades, boutique shopping and a cafe culture that oozes Italian style!
The many traditional villages that are dotted around Lake Garda offer visitors a great many sights of interest from the historic castle at Malcesine to the colourful cafes and vibrant buzz of Riva del Garda. Bikers, walkers and active sports enthusiasts are well facilitated, especially in the village of Torbole and the pretty Malcesine which has the cable car for access to the high peaks of Mount Baldo for biking, sight seeing and walking.
