With Volcanic Ash making flying unpredictable, then if your flights are cancelled, we will cover alternative travel by coach to our French destinations for just £29 (return). If your flights continue as normal, and coaches do not run - we will even refund your £29!

If one or both your flights are cancelled we will provide coach travel to get you to resort with the minimum of delay, and an assurance that you will still get the normal 6 days holiday and activities (with 1 day travel*). Your £29 goes towards the additional cost of buying in coaches for travel.
If after paying the £29 premium your flights actually run as normal and we have no need to coach you to France, then we will refund your full premium within 14 days of return to the UK.
There are no catches, we are simply offering this as an exclusive service to our guests. It is reassurance that your holiday will still take place. It could be argued that you are no worse off by paying the premium, given our guarantee of refund if flights run as normal and no coaches are used.
Many of our guests are worried that their holiday may not take place due to ash. Currently there are no insurance policies in place to cover a holiday refund for an un-flown holiday. Therefore we have taken the lead and are pledging to ensure we can still run your holiday in the event of ash disruption. See Terms below.

The coach will stop for refreshment at regular intervals, or on demand from passengers. Our reps will be at the pick up points and onboard throughout the journey.
Our Committment
We have negotiated preferential treatment from our main partner and supplier of coaches in France to guarantee the availability of vehicles for both legs of your journey, should they be required. We will be monitoring the situation round the clock, 7 days per week.

FAQ
Will I still get a full week holiday?
The answer is Yes. At worst case you will still get the standard 6 days holiday with 1 day travel. This 1 day travel for your 7 day holiday may be extended in the event of guests having to travel both ways by coach.
What if only 1 of my Flights are cancelled due to Ash?
Then we will only coach you the one way, and you will still fly out or back on the plane (whichever the case).
Will I get my refund if only one of my flights is cancelled?
Afraid not! Your £29 still only covers a one-way journey of the additional cost of coaches, but we are taking a risk that only one of your flights will ever be cancelled due to Ash. We will not ask you for any more premium if we have to supply coaches for both journeys, therefore we ask that your premium is non refundable in this instance.
When do i get refunded my £29?
If your flight runs as normal and we do not have to lay on a coach then you will get your £29 premium back! And we will refund it within 14 days of your return to the UK, and sooner if we can!
How long will the coach journey take?
The coach will take about 9 or 10 hours driving on the continent. The Ferry will be about 1 hour and the coach will stop a minimum of 2 or 3 times for refreshments. It will make additional stops on request.
Will we have to take the coach both ways?
Not if we can help it! We will only apply coach travel to the date of travel affected. Therefore if your out or return flight is not affected - you will still be able to fly back as normal.
May I cancel my holiday and go self drive instead?
Well yes you can but please be aware that flights have already been paid for, (Easyjet is non refundable), so cancellation charges will apply (min is 30%).

This offer is not for Lake Garda or Mayrhofen holidays
We will need a minimum of 40 people to take up this offer for any given date of the season in order to run the coaches. In the event this doesn't happen, we will refund your full premium 24hrs before departure, so you are no worse off!
The decision to fly or coach guests will be at Alpine Elements' discretion and made on the Saturday between 1.00pm & 2.00pm (for Sunday departures) whether to fly or coach guests. This decision will be made upon information provided by NATS. In the event of a decision to coach guests, and flights then being able to fly the next day there will be no refund of £29, because the coach will have already departed. This is a risk we are asking guests to be aware of - but one which we feel is justifiable given the unpredictable nature of the ash cloud and the decision making of NATS.
In the event of a decision to coach, guests will be contacted immediately and asked to prepare for travel to London Gatwick or Luton airport in order to meet the coach.
The coach will pick up from Luton airport, Gatwick airport and Dover. Our reps will be on hand to board guests. Details of exact pick up points will be made clear nearer the date of departure.

If both the out and in bound flights are cancelled then we will coach guests both ways, which may extend the 1 day travel assurance given above.
