Alpine Walks
The mountains offer a truly rewarding experience for hill walkers, with spectacular views, peace and tranquillity and of course excellent mountain restaurants offering Savoyard cuisine!
The ski lift system, which is open for bikers and hill walkers in the Summer, will allow hikers to cover many miles of alpine terrain whilst opening up the higher altitudes to the more gentle ramblers too.
The mountains feature hundreds of miles of trails which are well marked and mapped out for ease of orientation. Hiking or hill walking does not have to be too strenuous and can either consist of a gentle walk to a mountain restaurant or a more adventurous half or full day hike.
You can make use of a mountain guide to orientate you around the mountain, or we can provide you with suggestions and route maps so that you can take to the hills under your own steam. Glacier walks can also be arranged.
Glacier Walks
Take your first steps on a glacier with one of our Chamonix based glacial walks. Our guide will show you spectacular scenery and the secrets of the Mont Blanc Massif and its vast ice flows. This walk is accessible for all abilities. We can provide hire of crampons and walking boots. We advise taking high block sun cream, hat and sun glasses.
Alpine Walking Guides
You can make use of a mountain guide to orientate you around the mountain, or we can provide you with suggestions and route maps so that you can take to the hills under your own steam.
Please note that we do not advise hiking individually, always try to do so with at least one other person. For unguided walks, we would also advise that you leave details of your intended route and expected time of return with our chalet staff and reps.
