Activities for Children

The Alps provide an amazing array of exciting activities for kids! Here are just a few of them: Remember you can join our Les Gets hotels and get Free Kids Club with lunch!

Devil Karts
Great fun for all ages! You have to steer your own Kart down a dirt track course which is laid out with markers and posts down the mountain side. Racing with friends and family is great fun and is suited to all ages. This activity takes place in Morzine-Les Gets and Les 2 Alpes.

Adventure Park
Climb, swing, scramble, abseil, step and leap your way through the trees of the Adventure park in Morzine, Les Gets or Chamonix. Deep in the woods are tree houses where you can find swings rope bridges, scramble nets, aerial runways and all sorts of fun!

Older adventurers can also be harnessed onto a safety line for a more exhilarating tree top ride through the woods!

MTB for kids!
Mountain biking in the Alps is not only for the grown ups! We have courses for kids and even a bike park too! Children from as young as 6 are welcome to hone their skills early on!

The Luge
The Luge in Morzine-Les Gets and Chamonix is immense fun! It can be as fast (or slow) as you dare to go! Each Luge has a hand brake to control the speed of the car and therefore drivers can choose how fast they want to travel. The Luge is very easy to operate and requires no instruction. A chairlift takes riders to the top of the track where the excitement starts to build! The Luge suits all ages - especially the adults! And parents often ride with younger children.

River Rafting & White Water!
The Alps are famous for their rafting and children's rafting takes place on slightly more sedate rapids with instruction and guides provided.

Children must be good swimmers to participate and it is wise to bring some old trainers. Wesuits,life jackets & helmets provided.

Pony Treks
Guided pony treks offer wonderfully scenic tours of the mountains, and basic instruction where required. Ride through stunning alpine scenery with a guide for half or day long excursions.

Climbing
Children of all ages can learn to climb (6 yrs +) and under the supervision and guidance of a professional instructor. All resorts offer excellent climbing facilities and tuition.

Quad Bikes
Mini quad bikes and Junior Quads are available in all our resorts in the French Alps. Instruction is provided within the special children’s quad-bike arena.
